Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Prima Guide $4 at EB Games

90

The Prima guide for The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D has been marked down to $4 in EB Games stores.
Sure, you can find the same information (or better) online for free, but it's a good deal for those wanting a physical copy of the guide. The original RRP for the guide was $34.95, then marked down to $9 and now $4.
There is also a free Ocarina of Time poster included which might even be worth the $4 for some Zelda fans.
I picked one up in the Westfield Southland store and there were plenty left, but the deal is available at any store with stock.

  • I just noticed there are several other hint books marked down to $8 or $4 at EB at the moment. Just scroll through the titles here https://ebgames.com.au/any/any?q=hintbook

I really don't understand why these exist any more. If you can afford this book you can afford internet.

In general, they're really only good for the brief period after a game has been released when no online guides/walkthroughs exist yet.

Still, some have bonuses as mentioned:

There is also a free Ocarina of Time poster included which might even be worth the $4 for some Zelda fans.

I didnt either until I bought the Witcher 2 guidebook for $8. It's actually a good reference to have on your desk while you play. It also has some great artwork and other extras. I dont think I would pay more than $8 for a game guide book but I am happy with it.

    lol.

Anyways, it's a good deal for a hard copy. +1

  • I have the N64 version book, would it be much different to this?

  • I once tried to buy a hintbook at a store that indicated was in stock. I called up and they basically told me that any book <$10 will be out of stock and there won't be any stock in the future, since they are rare to find at their clearance price.
