Hello, I was planning on buying some eventcinemas gift cards since they usually have discounts, $40 card for $30 is good, 25% off, so $120 for $90, might stock em up.
The thing is, are gift cards able to be used in the box office? And are you able to use them online after booking with the Optus, Telstra Bupa etc tickets, when surcharge needs to be paid for vmax, 3d, can gift cards be used that way, to pay the surcharge?

Isn't full price ticket is always around $18-20, so how does saving 25% good when you can buy tickets like cinema saver for $10-$12??
Because they can be used on top of existing discounts. For example you can pay with a gift card for the $10 Telstra tickets.
Exactly. And you can buy grog in gold class.
I have always been able to use them everywhere. With the cheapest discounts and the candy bar. Online and at the boxoffice.
