  You need to keep a look out for a VIP pass or similar. Maybe a bit late. There were great buys before Christmas that lasted til June for unlimited entry. Lots of the offers are now restricted to locals (by postcode). Take a look:

  Perhaps you know someone local to the area? To see the offers you can just provide a local postcode but you need to verify at the gate according to the fine print.

  If in NSW you could try the NRMA for discounted tickets. Or have a look at these websites:

  Its always best to plan well in advance for the theme parks to get cheap tickets. Look for the deals around October if you plan on going next year.

      You're welcome. I have just seen a Gold Coast helicopter joy flight for half price on Scoopon if that helps. Just enter any Gold Coast location e.g Broadbeach to see the deal.

      Hope you have a great stay. There's plenty to see and do on the Gold Coast, lots of it free of charge. I always enjoy my stays there. For a decent buffet try Jupiters, not cheap but there's plenty of choice and children are welcome. There is also a baskin robbins voucher for icecream here:

      Plenty of their stores on the Gold Coast, try Pacific Fair in Broadbeach for a start, though there are plenty of others around too.

  If you are in any of the motoring clubs you can get your tickets through the Qld RACQ by just showing your membership card for your club and pay standard reduced price they sell them for. This can save you pre-purchasing tickets if you are not sure which park to go to.
