The Ads are, unfortunately, the best part of this expansion.
MOP is currently US$20 from Blizzard anyway.
(Cata $10, Base game $5.)good or crap game?
do you have to be online to play diabloesque
1: The entire game is a mutiplayer online game, so yes.
2: This is an expansion, not a game as such. You need World of Warcraft (and all previous expansions) to play this.
As mentioned this is an expansion. It would probably take at least 700-800 hours of gameplay just to reach the start of this expansion.
No, you just play for a bit, then 'retire', and wait 6 or 12 months, after which they'll probably come up with another campaign to give referrals out, at which point they give you a free month of the expansion, and a free character level-up to the previous expansion cap with gear.
12 months out and I got that for cataclysm anyway! Free lvl 80 toon, thanks.
Good month of fun, lol.
Waiting for panda version … think I'm close to 12 months again …
:PNo wonder there are so many wow freakout videos on YouTube lol
It does not take anywhere near that amount of time to get to level 90.
Yes you need to be online.
More than that, it costs a monthly subscription to keep playing.
No it is nothing like diablo. It's a good game, but… it is a life sucker if you let it, there is so much to do and see you can play for years and still not have seen everything.
If you are a completionist, World of Warcraft is your perfect nightmare, lol.I think you may have misunderstood the question
1) do you have to be online to play diabloesque
wasnt referencing if the gameplay was the same
Yes you need to be online.
It's an MMO, ie. online play only
I had a lot of friends that came back for the expansion though I didn't and all of them have now quit. This game certainly was a life sucker when it came out and into its 2nd expansion, I can attest to that but I really dont get that impression anymore.
Too much things were changed, mostly to cater for casual players. And things just go stale for people who've been playing this for 7 years
I checked in Blizzard, the MOP is $39.99 http://us.blizzard.com/store/browse.xml?f=c:1 $20, is that the activity for blizzard?
The Ads for this game reminds me of the animated movie Kong-Fu Panda but only more serious..
