Best Place to Buy a 17in Laptop?

My old laptop is on it's last legs so I want to buy a new one.

I like to open up multiple programs so a 17 inch or above screen is a must .

I game and frequently use processor intensive applications so I am willing to spend up to 1600 or so.

A spare harddrive slot would be a bonus as I bought a SSD late last year and don't want to waste anything

I bought a Dell Inspiron 17R SE and it is great. I use it for work mainly with some gaming on the side. Hasn't missed a beat. Full HD and I chucked in a 240gb SSD for a total of $1450. i7 with 6GB ram and 1 TB HDD and a nVidia 650m.

Why don't you just buy a desktop with multiple LCDs?
Do you need to travel with the laptop? Just curious.

Problem solved, I found a high-end ASUS G75 for $1600

JBs OW and HN wanted 3000 for an inferior model
