They also have Nintendo Ds for $69, Sony PSP for $145 and PSP slim and lite for $199.

Seriously why pay almost retail price (pre-christmas) for a a used console with a questionable history. There is a better than good chance the PS3 will get a sizable pricedrop in april. BTW eb warranty is not the same as a Sony warrant not by a long shot, I have been burnt here too. They even told me the laser in my PS2 was not included in the warranty. $50 for a xbox not a bad deal and if I didn't already own a few I would grab one at that price.

If you do not want to wait until April (3 months is a long time), and don't have the extra $100 to pay retail, the option is there to get a PS3 NOW for a cheaper price.
80gb + dualshock ps3 NEW + one latest game for an extra $100 seems to be much more better than ebgame preowned half-broken consoles.
Maybe their DS original are worth a thought.

Might be a good reason if you have ps2 games laying aroundthese are the 40gb ones from eb. the original has stopped 2years back which is the 60gb. so they are not ps2 compatible.
Besides maybe the wii, they arnt the best option.
