  Probably because they lost the cases. Kmart/Target/BigW randomly discount games that they can't find cases for.

    Actually, buying an even number of games and paying with cash and coins ends up being cheaper as the price gets rounded down.

    For maximum penny saving, buy 2 or 4 games at a time.

  Even if they are crappy games, as long as they come with cases i'd grab them to replace my others.

  I think I saw these in cut-out bins next to the AV counter a few weeks ago, although the prices were a bit higher then. If they're the same games, then the listed titles are the pick of the litter. Most were just in jewel cases like those pictured.

  yeah I work at the entertainment section at that store. We have like 2-3 boxes full of them. Rukia is right, they are mostly the games we don't have the cases for (or "misplaced" to make room for the later generation games).

  it's worth a shot to ask them if they have anymore at the back.

  Checked it out today - i can't remember seeing anything under ~$4, majority of games are for DS, lots of PS2 games, and a few X360 and PS3.
  Most of the PS3 and 360 games are around the $25 mark, and include Gears 3, stuntman ignition and prototype 2 (from memory).

    Are you sure you checked it at right place? I been again to Target today to check if there any new titles. Bought 4 DS2 games under $15 out of that two are on 83 cents. I also found around 50+ games (inc XBOX, PS2,PSP, DS2) on very low cost starting 83 cents.
