  • Anyone know how this compares with the Dymo Letratag? I have a Letratag and it hasn't let me down in two years of usage. I noticed that this Brother one takes 6x AAA's. The Letratag takes 4x AA's, which arguably is a cheaper and more convenient battery size to use.

  • "With its ABCD keyboard"

They promote that as a feature!?

    God awful things.

  • Bought this and it's my first label maker, so not sure if expectations were too high.

Have a few gripes with it:

    • wasted tape at the beginning of each label, have to trim down to size
    • too many button presses to get to symbols (ie hyphen, brackets etc)
    • selection of pattens and graphics uses code on device that requires you to refer to little paper reference
    • preview only shows you the text you entered, not how the label will look - pointless function
