AMAZING, I was quoted over $100 by Australian Post and most of couriers, to post my acoustic guitar from VIC to WA.

You have got to love Australian Post…..rip off

  • How does it compare to this package? - http://www.turramusic.com.au/Pages/CatalogueItem.aspx?CIID=1…

Any worries about posting a guitar from overseas? Are they packaged well? I'd worry about breakage :(

    • Looking at the reviews, people seem to be happy about the ways their guitar was packaged and sent. And are more impressed by the way it sounds instead.

  • i had this guitar, its bloody crazy, i sold it 2 months ago for 150 lmfao.

  • whats RRP?

  • Amazon UK shipping all guitars to Australia or just Yamaha? Cos that shipping is a really good deal…

  • So tempting. Just listening to some people play the F310 on youtube - it sounds great for the price: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvzKK_d-Cr0

  • Tobacco Brown Sunburst is current out of stock. However, similar ad and natural coloured guitar http://amzn.to/YdjT4i. Currently $152 delivered.

  • Can anyone who is experienced with acoustic guitars give me a quick comparison between this and the semi acoustic livingstone from Aldi?

I already own the Aldi guitar but am contemplating upgrading to a better acoustic.

Is this a big enough upgrade or should I look at spending more?

I primarily play my strat but I really should start playing acoustic more.

    • Yes this is a big upgrade! Although considered a beginner guitar, it is probably the best. The Aldi guitar is cheap in comparison. Just look at the many youtube videos of this guitar.

In saying that, I ordered this guitar last week and it arrived yesterday…. broken. The packaging was crap. It layed loose ina box with very thin foam around it. The box had been squashed and the whole left side of the guitar was ripped away at the sides. I would never be buying an item like this from amazon again, let alone overseas. Amazon have processed a refund, but now I have to send the guitar back out of my own pocket, and then apply for a refund for postage. Whole process was something I never want to go through again.

      • I'm a bit late to the party but calling this guitar the "best" beginnner's guitar is a bit of a stretch. A beginner's guitar generally is classed as a guitar up to $500. This could be considered a good option for the price though. I've played some ALDI instruments and have not been impressed, I'm impressed however that juzz88 stuck with it long enough to get a better instrument - quite often a poor quality instrument will lead a beginner to quit.

Also sorry to hear about your guitar.
