Cheapest historical price for this drive on Amazon.
It is USB 2.0 so speeds are probably slow.
Cheapest on Staticice is $92.95 from Shopping Square
Officeworks stocks this for $129

Hahaha, that's if you were getting 8mb/s. A couple of people have posted their speeds ranging around the 3.5-4mb/s mark. 30+ hours is a more realistic estimate.
Yeah, USB2 limits its uses for sure, but there are still plenty of good uses left.
Paid like $120 a week ago :'(. Great for making an extra copy of family photos etc just in case.
$120? just to backup/extra copy?
in your situation, nothing a DVD-R or DVD-RW won't do……
DVD-R / DVD-RW have flaws too and sometimes even have a limited shelf life… Plus they would take a lot more space to store as compared to a little USB stick. On the upside if you have the storage space, this is a far cheaper option.
still, even an officework USB 320GB portable hard drive would be far cheaper! :-)
You have 128GB of family photos?
if you use SLR camera & take photos + videos, 128GB is nothing for a few trips! :-P
Each photo is around 11mb and I have around 22,000 photos..
No benefit above the 5min drives Sandisk also makes, but some use in archival..yes.
By the time you fill this up computers will be obsolete
So it will only take 15 hours to fill the drive, nice.
