First time post - don't bite!
I have been looking around for some reasonably priced weights for some time as a starting kit to build up some muscle. I find the Price to be good - that's 2 dollars per Kg!

An okay price. Be aware with the vinyl casting that it is filled with concrete, if you break the vinyl there is a good chance you'll break the concrete too (not so good for deadlifts/any exercises where you throw weight around). This is a good starter as it comes with bar and dumbbells too.
On a side note K-Mart sells iron weights for ~$2/kg, even less for >10kg plates IIRC, the >10kg plates also have handles which are handy.
+1 for cast iron weights rather than the moulded concrete ones.
They aren't cast iron, "vinyl casing is filled with a concrete"

better off with something like that
not with the $167.27 delivery charge added…
They do have pickup, which won't help everyone, but may make it worthwhile for some.
Comes to $15 delivery for me… Guess living outside of Sidney/Melb kinda sucks
If you live in Marble Bar why don't you just save yourself some money on weights and lift rocks instead.
Now if I can find a good bench to pair with this.
BigW deal is back

If it was a $1/kg like what bigw had a while back would be awesome
