      From what I have seen before they give you little extras in the game, I guess its like 'hats' in Team Fortress.. not really sure. Seeing all these popup every now and then though does make me not want to play the game.

    They're for ingame items. You need the games for them to work.

    Search the previous ozbargain deals, they release them every week or so.

        Even on twitter people were confused due to Randy Pitchford's tweet; on the Gearbox twitter it's much clearer.

        No idea why the OZB poster didn't say the A:CM code is a shift one and not 'aliens colonial marines active for 1 week'.

    Since the other thread was removed, reposting comment here…just bookmark http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=121066… for golden key codes. You can even access it in-game as a guide.
