I found that link due to zyss listing a different one under the Melbourne Aviation rip off.
It looks like the ADMA is now going to do spot checks so that they prevent problems from happening in the first place.
I suggest that they should look at Cudo's disclaimer that they will not refund in the last 30 days before expiry of a deal. That is bogus. What if you book for a meal during that time and the restaurant burns down or closes?
I suggest they should also look at the values placed on merchandise deals.
Cudo's new policy is balls (and may be a breach of the consumer law).
I don't understand why they don't encourage businesses to have a booking period and an offer period. So the coupon lasts for, say 6 months, but you only have 3 months to book. As a standard this would stop them freaking out at the last minute rushes come in and gives them enough time to book in everyone in (hopefully) a day and time that suits most people.
