      In-app purchases are only for $ or stars I think, which allow you to buy/unlock more cars and upgrades.

      If you play the game seriously and not buy every car you see you should be able to save up on money and increase your stars as you level up.

      That said, online racing (king of the hill) is one of the most rewarding ($$) events to play.

      Also, they have weekly events which allow you to win fantastic cars, and newly added a daily lottery to give you money or cars or upgrades.

      Great game, imho.

      Reviews revolve around buying stars, which seriously are just short cuts. There is NO LIMIT to the amount of stars earnable in the game - as you win/clear more stages, you get more stars, easy. Even after you've completed the entire cup, every single level at 3 stars, there are still 'goals' to complete which give 1 star each, and then every time you level up you get another star. You don't have to buy the stars, no one is forcing you. I believe most players earn their stars, not buy them.

      Nothing more embarrassing than a guy who got a nice fast car but didn't learn to drive losing to someone with skills on a basic car.

    This game is free like every other week. Also try real racing but get addicted other wise it will cost you allot.
