PS3 Slim Console

Anyone know of a place to get the slot load (slim) ps3s for a good deal at the moment ? My fat has just died and I don't like the top load of the new ones.

    Does it turn off immediately after you turn it on?
    I'm assuming the fan has died in mine, not too sure what's wrong.

    They were clearing them cheap in Harvey Norman a little while back.

    I also don't like the top loading sliding ones, just seems like a way to cut costs.
