  Tastes really bad compared to short grain/jasmine rice. But yeah, good price if you're into that sort of thing.

    Its supposed to be used differently, in dishes where the rice is immersed in the cooking and where the grains need to stay separate. Risottos, curried rice, that sort of thing, although I suppose you should use arborio for risottos.

    I usually get 25 kg of medium grain rice for 30 quid from Chinatown, which is about the going rate.
