I always walk though discount book shops in the hope of finding something worth buying. For the first time ever… Last night I actually did. It's from the discount bookstore near the corner of Murray st and Barrack St, on Murray St.
I have always been recommended the "Fables" Series and they usually sell for anywhere between $15 - $20 in bookshops. $9.95 is the best I have ever seen it. Even the cheapest on Booko is $11 delivered from overseas.

They had about 40 copies of it in stock, with no other volumes so I think somebody over ordered volume 1 by accident and offloaded them here.
The one for sale has a variant cover to the one on booko, but its definitely published by Vertigo. Worth giving a go.
Fables is a great series and I thoroughly recommend it, especially this first half. Mind you I think it has lost its way a bit…
