The surge protector looks remarkably like this one from Jackson Industries: http://www.ji.com.au/products/PT9987/, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually come from the same factory, just another OEM re-brand. By the way, the Jackson one is $69.95 at OW, so $28.95 with free shipping is pretty good.
