Best Android Phone for around $200?

  I've been using the Sony Dual Tipo (wanted Dual Sim) and after applying a hard to find patch that fixed the screen, have been v happy :)

  Only complaint is I can't schedule just one sim to stop notifications overnight (it's all or nothing) :(

  Anyone that needs patch search ST21i_calibrate (this link may be the real thing or malware http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/57749?start=0&tstart=0, but file name is right - I can't remember where I got the file from now).

      Yea I realized, then changed it to the HTC One V. This one looks good too, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/93197 Has 4G and 16GB internal storage, but still on Android 2.3.7

    This or the Sony Xperia Sola from Vodafone for $179 (free to unlock).
    If you're on Optus, the Sola is the best bet.
    But if you're on Telstra the Velocity is a Telstra exclusive.
    For Vodafone, either will be OK, the Sola will have better coverage in Regional areas, the Velocity, better city coverage.

      I think I'll go with velocity. Just wondering which one is better sola or velocity? This phone will be used for mostly calls and internet surfing.

        The velocity is larger and more powerful but its also heavier and thicker

        keep in mind the velocity has a larger screen which would be better, 4.5" vs 3.7"

      isn't the sola quad band 3G?
      4G only makes a difference to the speed, not coverage?

  The Velocity 4g wins by a country mile if you can acquire it for that price.
