Even if spec for MacBook says 4GB max, many sources say Corsair 2x4GB (7-7-7-20) work perfect.
Ordered a kit for my MacBook 13" unibody late 2010.
Shop seems to be pretty reputable (Whirlpool forum).

If it was DDR2 I would have grabbed some, bought 2x 4GB DDR3 some time back for my laptop only to find out it takes DDR2. I probably should have checked first but assumed it was DDR3 as it wasn't that old.
Regarding the quantity, sometimes deals get deleted for insufficient qty, other times not. Impossible to know what's going to happen with this one. If no one reports it (I haven't) then it might stay.

That's why I'm so exited about this deal - I was doing my research for few weeks to find best option of upgrading memory and just yesterday visited offline shop to buy same kit just to find out that they don't have it in stock. The price was $39 per stick. And today I found it almost twice as cheap! )))
I don't care what will happen with my post. Just want to share this finding with somebody who is after same upgrade.
Could buy all stock and resell. But don't want to.
yeah.. would love a good DDR2 deal…. my old lappy (toshiba sat a200) struggles with is 1Gb… i upgraded it to a SSD and it boots very quickly but i know the memory is holding it back now… still want at least another year or two for the kids homework/internet needs.
