Hi, I'm new here. I just won an auction on Grays for a brand new Lenovo Thinkpad X220 and I think I got a pretty good deal. The cheapest I can find online was around $800 something but I got mine for about $628 inclusive of the 15% premium and the delivery. Here's the link:

I believe this is a superseded model as the Lenovo website is now selling the X230, no more X220's, but I found some on individual IT websites, on eBay, and some on Gumtree, the cheapest was around $800+.
The description on Grays is very vague and brief, but I think the hard drive is actually solid state, will post photos and a confirmation when I actually receive it.
What do you think of the specs, is it a quality laptop?
Thanks.
320GB HDD won't be SSD.
Lenovo, or rather the IBM brand before it, were known and trusted in business as being stable well wearing hardware platforms.
I think they have continued in the fashion so believe they are solid purchases, and even if you wanted an SSD, it will be a cheap upgrade for you compared with the original purchase price.
Taking the fact it is superceded by a new model though, it is probably only slightly cheaper that you would have been able to buy around the time of model change over as they would have reduced price to sell existing stock before the X230 came in.
Good purchase though.
