Student Discounts for TAFE students.

I'm retired and have a masters degree. After several years of taking it easy, I've enroled in a full time TAFE program for personal development and fun. It looks like half the people in my program are under 18. I'm a bit more, ummm, mature.

I went to the Student discount Wiki and there don't seem to be many things listed. For example, the Event Cinemas student discounts on Mondays aren't listed in the Wiki.

Can anyone who knows of student discounts or other benefits available to TAFE students please post them here? I'm based in Perth, but would be interested in discounts in Sydney, Melbourne and NZ as I visit all of them this year.

TIA

The Student Specific deals wiki is a little… under-utilized. I'd almost forgotten it existed.

I started the page back in 2010 (how times have flown by) but it seems nobody seems intent on maintaining and updating the page due to how little page views it gets.

That, or nobody reads the Wiki.

Perhaps this is a good time and place to start promoting it.

  • Does anyone know if there are any legitimate bargain student airfares or does STA and student flights just advertise that to induce you to come in the door?
