[New Feature] Integration with BucksBack and Qwibble Cashback Sites

Just a quick announcement on new integration with 3rd party sites. OzBargain has been showing StartHere cashback rates pretty much since the beginning (when it was once called MoneyBackCo). For information on "cashback", please check this wiki page on how it works and why you should consider using it before you make online purchases.

Recently on our blog we compared 3 different cashback sites — StartHere vs. Buckscoop vs. BucksBack. Last November Buckscoop forked out its cashback business into Qwibble.com.au. There are now 3 competing cashback sites, which all have their own pro's and con's — we think we might as well add support to all 3 of them on OzBargain.

So 2 months ago we started adding cashback rates from Qwibble, and as of this morning we now have cashback rates from BucksBack live on OzBargain. For example if you go to Lenovo's store page, you'll now see 3 logos next to "Cashback" and a link saying "3 Offers". Click on that would show the current cashback offers for Lenovo:

• 3.35% from BucksBack
• 3.15% from Qwibble
• up to 3.75% from StartHere

In this case you might consider use StartHere if you already have their Black Membership, or otherwise BucksBack. However the difference is more than just cashback rates. Some might even have merchants that are not supported by others. For example,

• ASOS — up to 5.25% cashback from StartHere and not others.
• RedBullMobile — $15 per sale cashback from BucksBack and not others.
• Ted's Camera Store — 3.2% cashback from Qwibble and not others.
• Threadless.com — 7.5% cashback from BucksBack and not others.
• Topshop.com — up to 5.63% cashback from StartHere and not others.

Again here is the reminder — use the cashback sites when you make purchases.
