Just saw this deal and thought of posting it. Price is better than the last deal here, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/92606, except it's not on steam.

This is the best price I've seen for Alice: Madness Returns to date.

It's a digital download from Amazon, so it's a cloud download, accessible from anywhere. If you are mainly a Steam user, you can always add a shortcut in Steam manually.

  It is interesting that amazon is getting away with selling games to the 'US' with almost no region protection. Either:

  1: The region-crazy-hateful publishers haven't worked out what is going on yet.

  2: They are upset but amazon is big enough to tell them to stick it. Possible but surprising they don't just not offer their games to amazon (certainly similar things have happened before).

  3: The publishers are starting to change their ways. Also the world is ending.

    I think some publishers might be aware but in the end they don't mind because Amazon are selling them like hotcakes and in quite a few cases are (particularly with the older games), generating sales that never would have happened.

    Publishers can't really complain to Amazon either (like 2k/take-two did with GMG) because Amazon Digital Downloads are restricted to US residents (or rather US billing addresses) so with that restriction already in place there isn't much publishers can really do or say besides removing their games.
    It would be stupid for any publisher to pull their games from Amazon tbh because Amazon have risen from nowhere in a short time and grabbed themselves a fairly decent sized market share on digital downloads.

      Alice Madness Returns The Complete Collection was part of the Editor's Choice range previously. Too bad this isn't. Was hoping for a Hotline Miami-style giveaway. :P
