  • Scoot is currently running cheap flights to Singapore and you can connect via Tiger to Vietnam.
I recently booked AirAsia to Saigon via KL for about $600 return (sale fares).
The trouble with both is long/overnight transit layovers, although it might be possible to go SYD-KUL-SGN on Airasia with only a 2 hour transit, but it has the risk if the first flight is late it's your problem.
I'm assuming you want to fly out of Sydney?
There would be other options if you can go via Perth, Darwin, Melbourne or Goldcoast.

    • Is Singapore airline run this company?
is included any baggage?how many kg for baggage?

      • yes (for the scoot leg, but not the Tiger leg) and 15kg. www.flyscoot.com

beware of often lengthy transit times in SIN with scoot.

        • Thank for the advice.Unfortunately,my parent does not want to wait too long. For young people is ok,for them quite a bit hard due to age.

Please tell us what are your travel dates.

I can find one-way fares flying China Airlines (Taiwan-based) via Taipei from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh for as low as $585 per passenger, depending on your departure date.

  • A bit of too early to book the ticket but my mum wants to buy ticket now coz when come closer, you dont have any date choice. Its end of Nov.
As she prefer to go with Vn airline and might be non stop frm Sydney to Hanoi.
Any glue? I still search but the price is quite high,I know when you buy one way ticket which mean you cant save any.But so far my result is each ticket cost me over $900 bucks. My budget is ~ $700-800 and specially dont want to wait too long in between.

    • I can see fares for ~$600 Sydney to Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi, via Bangkok, on the Google matrix search.
Sydney to Bangkok is on Emirates, and Bangkok to SGN/HAN is on Vietnam Airlines. Only drawback is there's a 10hr layover in Bangkok.
You can book it via the Emirates website.

      • Sure, thank you so much for your suggestion
