Looking for a cheap lady bike

I'm looking for a lady bike to ride for leisure in the weekend. I have no idea of where to start and what bike to buy.
I'm looking for anything between $50 to $250. Preferably a bike for a small person, I'm only 158cm. Used bike is also ok too.

check ebay and gumtree - usually good brands like 'Malvern Star' are discounted here

Sorry for being naive but I have a couple of questions:

the Reid brand vintage lady bike is $235 with 1 speed.

I looked up on EBay and found something similar with 6 speed for $249. (SAMSON brand). Is REID better than SANSON? And would 6 speed be better than single speed?
