Hello, 1st bargain posted, so please excuse any mistakes etc.
I was looking for a cheap blu ray player for 1 of my best mates on disability pension. I found this for him and got price matched quick and easy @ JB HI-FI (Miranda) . It actually seems great for cheapest blu ray player I could find. Plenty of features, and accepts my friends 3TB USB3 external HDD (which he bought on sale only to find not supported by PS3) . No 3D support, but I doubt any cheap players have 3D support.
Samsung's Full HD Bluray Player is backwards compatible so that it can play both DVDs and CDs as well as newer format Bluray discs. Complete with HDMI output and a USB port, this product has all the options you could want in terms of connectivity. It is even Wireless ready with the addition of the compatible Samsung Wireless Dongle.
This is how my price match went (my friend tried and was refused as he didn't know what to say etc) . I walked in store, asked guard where are Blu Ray players. Found guy in section and informed him I would like price matching please. Said, I can show him link on my phone, but phone no reception in here, can you look it up I have the link here (showed him link) . He put link in his iphone, looked it up. Showed him that you click on item, then postage etc, input post code (he asked my postcode, but any will do) . Site comes up as $10 delivery fee or FREE PICK-UP . When he noticed that it was pick-up in Melbourne he made a sound like awhrrr (like in disappointment for me) . I said straight away "that doesn't matter does it, as it is an Australian store, I didn't think it mattered what suburb the store is in, its free pick-up in physical bricks and mortar store. He answered No (doesn't matter what suburb) , and said "I'll go get your receipt" . I took the receipt to checkout and paid . Was probably in and out of store in under 5 minutes with nice new Blu Ray Player $69.
Tried to be very clear with how to get deal, as my friend tried to get price match and struggled greatly, walking away empty handed. If you do as I did , should be a quick and easy price match and purchase .
Hope this helps a few people.
Kind Regards,
Steve
Now I think you should look for a phone carrier that will get you reception inside buildings
