Why would someone buy something like this instead of a Nex-6 or Olympus OMD?
I heard that Fuju makes the lenses for Hasselblad these days so the 35mm f1.4 it comes with is probably very good.

I just read that it has no AA filter, this sounds like one serious camera.

Just picked up the x-pro1 on an urge. Might flip it if I don't like it. Still a few left by the looks.
The most obvious weakness of this camera is the very limited lens selection but luckily mirrorless cameras can basically use any manual focus lens ever made with the right adapter.
Start with the Helios 44-2, you should be able to get a good one off Ebay for about $30. The M42 adapter is $16.

Like the crazy Canon deal below, I doubt this will get honoured, bought the X-pro1 body hopefully they will honour it but not expecting much.
But again they might have lost thousands of $$$$ during there free $10 promotions and they honoured those so who knows…Anyone gotten a tax invoice from these guys yet? I am half expecting them to cancel but holding out hope.
I received the tax invoice about 5 minutes after paying with PayPal (credit card).
That doesn't sound too hopeful for me, I did PayPal (instant bank transfer) and nothing aside from the PayPal receipt - still. Nearly been 24 hrs.
When did you buy it? I bought it about 2 minutes after Shlomo posted it to OzBargain, and it went out of stock a few minutes later. But for some reason it came back into stock for a brief period again about 15 minutes later — if you bought it during this second period, then maybe there's some issue with stock availability in their system?
Some people reported in the other Canon lens thread that they received tax invoices for some items but not others.

I loaded up the site a few minutes after the bargain was posted here. My order went through at 7:40pm. I was on a satellite connection so there was terrible lag.
I also have a Canon lens on order with no tax invoice either. I was thinking maybe PayPal via back transfer is slower than credit card? But I don't see why it should be.
I'm pretty sure the x100 I grabbed for $42 won't be fulfilled, although I have received all invoices etc

It will almost certainly be new; graysonline state it in their description ("used" or "reconditioned") if it was anything but.

Someone's up for some overtime at Grays tonight! Still $50 isn't bad, brings a refurb'd HX20V down to about $150 delivered! Still not as good as my X-Pro1 was going to be! Might just blow the $50 on cheap cleanskin wine and forget it ever happened…………….
