Hi I am getting a bit over paying $60-$65 to get my maltese shihtsu clipped. Does anyone know of a good salon that charges any less on the Gold Coast? And no I am incapable of doing it myself :)

Lol I heard about Versace… I am sure my little charlie would love a stay there. Is Animal Magic one of those mobile ones?
They do have too. Thought of taking him to work, have a mobile service turn up - but not sure I want a giant fibreglass dog trailer in the work car park for an hour.

There is a new dog grooming shop open in Southport at the Southport Park Village (opposite TSS) and it is run by animal behavior experts. These guys are ex zoo keepers and care about the welfare and well being of the dogs in their care. I cannot recommend them enough as my scruffy came home the happiest I have ever seen him after a grooming session and also at $45.00 I would recommend them to everyone!

Take our Shihtsalot to Animal Magic Broadbeach - there's a few around the coast.
Started there as a puppy, moved to Pet Barn Bundall when they started up - for same reason, to save bux.
Recently gone back to Animal Magic. Dog is much happier, and we regret the torture endured.
Not worth the saving.
Yet to find a good dog minder for when we go away for 2 nights or more (long weekends), though I hear Versace Hotel take in pets :-)
