    • Yeah that'd be nice.
Would also prefer the Kingston 32GB 3.0 rather than SanDisk 2.0.

    • +7

Sure thing! Just added to the deal above.

      Enjoy :]

Hi CPL Rep. I see you kindly added the 32G USB 2.0 to the deal, I think user allyemil (and myself fwiw) are after a 32Gig USB 3 stick, if that's possible please.(?)

        • You'd be correct. :)
And preferably not the ugly one with that swivel design. The design of the 16GB kingston is much better IMO.

    • +2

How did Kingston design something so ugly?

  • +21

    +1 for the cheap shipping…

    16gb usb3.0

    but

    32gb usb2.0

    i want 1x32gb usb3.0 not 2x16gb usb3.0

  • +1

How fast is the 16gb USB3 drive?

  • +1

Anyone have benchmark stats for the 16gb usb3?

      • +3

Review doesn't sound too good.. "the performance figures are terrible, this drive only just outperforms a lot of USB 2.0 drives from five years ago, I am really surprised that Kingston have released this so recently. I expected more from them."

But then, for $8 I guess you can't complain too much.

          exactly :)

heres my impulse purchase for the day from ozbargain

    • +2

Its only mid morning to be making a bold statement like that!! ;)

  • same price as the one from Kmart but this one's USB 3 instead of 2!

  • Any in north melbourne for pickup? How many?

  • I give you +

  • +4

    tempted but must resist..

    • +3

Agree. It's a good deal but I have too many useless USB drives already :)

      • -5

i think most people will only need 4gb usb tumbdrives, and portable hdd 250gb+.
i mean we carry around small files with tumbdrives and for movies we still need bigger portable one.
no point having mid range 8 16 32 64 (well maybe 64 is)

        • +5

          Bill Gates? Is that you?

        • -2

          No. He is erwinsie

  • +1

Hi op, if i am getting 2 16G, is the shipping cost still $0.6 or it will become $1.2?

    • +1

      Hi Maogua,

The shipping rate is 60c each, sorry if that wasn't clear above.

  • Good buy. Bought a 16GB. Saves me a trip to KMart.

  • +6

Just be aware the read/write speeds for that USB3 one are slower than some USB2 devices:
    http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital-DataTraveler-DT111-16…

Some reviews for Sandisk one say it's slow too:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B002U26QR2

But if you just need the storage and don't care about copy times, it's pretty cheap.

  • +1

good work, good to see cheap shipping rates too

  • I only have the option to select a pick up location?

    • +1

Hi YWS, to allow for 60c shipping usb flash drives in this deal have to be purchased separately from any other items. If you have any other items or more than the maximum for each item you will have to place separate orders.

      Sorry for any inconvenience,

      • Cheers for that, works now :)

  • Slow speed as usual with all other Kingston usb key products. I bought 2 anyway for general mp3 use.

  • Trying to checkout. Ive ticked Shipping to home address in step3, then step4 asks whether Im picking up from WestMelb or nottinghill. Im stuck

        Thanks for the prompt feedback

  • +4

    A deal on a USB3.0 64GB or 128GB drive would be awesome!

  • Rep, can you do us a deal on some MicroSD cards please!! (pref. 8gb or higher)

    • +1

      Hi Montorola,

Thanks for the feedback! We will definitely consider this for a promotion in the coming week, please check our Facebook page for announcements of up coming deals 24 hours before they go live on OzBargain.

      • Cheers rep, that'd be great

  • +5

I'm happy to pay 60c for shipping because you know that is how much posting a letter cost, respect.

  • -4

what's with the crappy payment system on the website. Direct deposit?

    • It's not too bad given they've got bank accounts with all the major banks.

I used PayPal though, the 2% surcharge isn't exactly deal breaking on a $14.60 purchase (amounting to $0.29).

  • Hi rep I placed an order online about half an our ago but havent received a confirmation email or anything like that.
My order number is: 100002883 can you tell me what the go is? It was for the 16gb usb3.

    • Hi farrarifreak

All orders placed will be honored, however all orders are manually processed and confirmed and we have a huge back log of orders from this particular deal.

If you have been issued an order number there is nothing to worry about! Sorry about any delays, the response to this deal has been even bigger than we expected and we might need a little time to catch up.

  • +3

I am so used to these deals now. Standard deal is 'USB 2, great price'. Then 200 pages of comments that read 'slow as hell'. Now we have USB 3 deals that are slow as hell.

How about an actual deal on a USB drive that is decent in speed and price!

  • +1

Sure, this is fine & all, but for real style and only $1 more shipped, why not try this 32GB USB stick that transforms - into a leopard!

    • I've always needed a leopard transforming usb key. But I need it in 512gb, waterproof and hi-visibility. Damn.

  • well, demand of USB drive will be qutie for a while as paypal free money has fed lots of ppl.

  • Webpage says NO STOCK. :(

    • Sorry EightImmortals,

We just ran out of our allocated stock a minute ago. We marked the deal as expired yet it may take a few minutes to refresh the cache on the page.

  • Poop, went into a meeting at work, came back and the 64GB is all gone :(

  • ahhh the exact same stick i bought from the $10 paypal coupon, these sticks will still perform better even on usb 2.0 port vs 2.0 drives

  • Drats out of stock. Damn OZb.

  • Missed out but gave +ive for a great deal, waiting for the next one :)

  • i tried it but it shows 22.60 shipping charge, not $0.60…that is very expensive

  • has these been sent out yet? been a week and i havent received mine yet.

  • Received mine today :)
