  this machine is good for a person who wants a clean room but hate cleaning…. :)
  $149 is a very good price.

  anyone has this unit?
  how well does it perform?
  is it comparable to the Roomba?

  I don't think we're at a stage that a $149 robotic vacuum is going to do a half decent job.

  I always issue caution to most people when look at buying cheap robot vacuums.

  I know too many people who just discount robot vacuums altogether, because their friend bought a cheap shitty Chinese knockoff one that either broke down, has horrible pathfinding or just didn't really vacuum properly.

  I can't comment on this particular model, but I suggest if anyone is seriously interested in getting one to check out the Whirlpool forums, which has some decent discussion on different models.

  We've had our Neato for about a year and a half now and he's still going strong.
