Lovesac 'It's not a damn bean bag' - are having a sale of all of their stuff, in store (Sydney, Moore Park) and online. It's 10 - 40% off only during the Australia day weekend. Sometimes they have sales of single items here and there they want to get rid of, but that's not even that common. So getting any sort of discount at all on their regular stock is pretty big. I was speaking with them and they said they've never had a sale on regular items before like this so I think that's a pretty rare deal then.

    This sale is perfect timing as we've just moved into our new house however $1000 for the big'n is difficult to justify. It's even difficult to justify it at 40% off if it sells for that over the weekend. Hmmm.

    This site is a ripoff. Upwards of $500 for a cloth (microsuede) beanbag?! You can get genuine leather beanbags for about that much, even thats expensive for a bit of cowhide.

      I'd give it a go. But it's going to have to be 40% off or I'm not touching it.

      I'm going to laugh when it is only the kidsac that's 40% off. And the sceptic in me knows it will be. I'm expecting the ones I'm interested in to be 10% and that's sad, mostly because I'm in WA and simply can't demo them to see if they are worth any more than that.

      Edit: Aaaand mushroom white is unavailable in all models. Fail. The other colours simply dont coordinate well with my home.

        Went to check them out today.

        Would be surprised if 40% would be applied for anything but kid sac. Highest discount on pillowsac of unpopular colour such as olive or chocolate would be 10-15% with prise tag of about 450-ish.

          Ha ha - I agree that quality of my research was a bit of a sub par. Nevertheless, I made an effort and moved myself into the shop in a physical not a virtual world to check what this things are and decide am I ready to pay full price or not. Lovesacs are good. Pillowsac could serve our needs. But amount of spent would not balance the joy of using this thing. 40% off sounds a bit more realistic. From the rep's answer I didn't understand clearly what would be discounted for 40%. From his answer I formed an opinion that on most popular items discount would be more like 10-15% off. I didn't have the opportunity to check them today. Could be by now there is a lot of people now a happy owners of love sacs bought at a great discount.

        Mushroom White is available in Plushsuede in all sizes, + is all available @ 20% off the total item - except accessories which are 15% off. Research before you post :) pz

      As Niphal said. They aren't bean bags. If you sat in one - you'd know the difference. Also - I don't know of any bean bag that gives a 10 year warranty… just sayin'.

    I questioned them on facebook about what is, and isnt on sale..
    this is their reply.

    " Charcoal and Dk Chocolate will be 10% off entire range. Tasman Blue & Red will be 15% off entire range. Espresso and Mushroom will be 20% off entire range.     Whats the diff between plushsuede and microsuede?

      WHAT’S IN A COVER?

      Our permanent range consists of six Microsuede colours and two Plushsuede colours. Plushsuede is not available across all our range.

      Microsuede: is a synthetic material designed to feel like real suede, however exceed it in durability. It covers the Insert tightly which allows the air to be trapped within the item upon compression. This will allow the sitter to sink deep into the item and the foam to billow out and surround them. The Microsuede colours are Dark Chocolate, Charcoal Grey, Bright Red, Tasman Blue, Bondi Sand, Olive Green.

      Plushsuede: is a double layered version of Microsuede. It is thicker, more textured and softer to the touch. Unlike Microsuede, it sits heavier on the item, pushing all of the air out. The sitter predominantly rests on the item, more like a super soft day bed. The Plushsuede colours are Mushroom White, Espresso Brown.

      Other:Occasionally Lovesac will stock a Limited edition cover in various sizes. They will range from Polyester to Cotton fabrics and designs. However patterns advertised on the U.S. websites are not part of our range, nor are we capable of importing them for individual sale. The Limited Edition colours vary from item to item.

      All covers are spot cleanable, removable and machine washable.

    Had to come back and say that discounting by colour (rather than model, ie: kidsac/moviesac) was quite reasonable.

    Couldn't buy because the only colour that would have worked was 10% off, and that was unenticing. But the sale was fairly decent.
