Found this deal @ Amazon.
The cheapest Crucial RAM i can found so far ( approx $83 after conversion to AUD )
Note :
1. Crucial ranks number 1 in RAM reliability, and you can hardly find them anywhere in Australia.
2. The RAM is 1066Mhz, so make sure your laptop supports it.

changed, thanks!
Np, you could even add (~$83) to the title.
It is not a bad price though, regardless of brand.
.
corsair more reliable
you saying corsair ranks above number #1 (crucial) ?
how that possible :s ?Crucial pwns Corsair in terms of reliability, in both RAM and NAND SSD drives.
Return rates (for RAM) June 25, 2012
- Crucial 0.23% (as against 0.4%)
- Kingston 0.40% (as against 0.5%)
- G.Skill 1.10% (as against 1.4%)
- Corsair 1.44% (as against 1.6%)what an interesting report!! thanks scrimshaw!!!
where exactly did you find that crucial is the no.1 brand in reliability? i had Crucial ballistix ddr2 and they had a 100% failure rate. Got it swapped twice and failed both times
it is based on statistics, i never mention "it never fails" … just that having the lowest return rates.
Apparently your model is inside the list

It's actually 1333mhz (PC3-10600)
But thanks OP I just bought it.
How does it compare with Patriot?
16gb (2x8gb) 1333 kit at MSY is $82 aud. Local warranty. Does not include postage
Local warranty certainly have its own advantages.
However some people like me have preferred certain brands.
Crucial does have lifetime warranty though
Bad grammar from OP. Should be find not found.
shut up you keyboard warrior!
people like you adding your smug little remarks is happening more and more frequently these days.
its getting so frustrating looking at forums posts and message boards when people like the OP are just trying to help their fellow man
Are you sure?
More like $80.
Oh I see the description, might want to change the symbol in the title.
