At which point do we stop adding the promo credit to deals? lol

    • The promo credit lasts all throughout January.

      • -3

Sorry, I mean most people would have spent it by now.

        • Are you kidding? I've still got loads of them… because I already own every game that goes on special, or I don't like them! :(

        • True but some people have been saving it after missing out on some of the deals that sold out quickly earlier in the month as an Amazon rep mentioned on a forum that many of the deals will return before the month ends.

Max Payne 3 was one of the games that sold out in only a couple of hours.

  • I'm a long time PC gamer and hadn't paid any attention to the Max Payne series, picked all of them up in the steam sale and I was really impressed by the game. The story line through all of them while not groundbreaking intricate was really well done and Max Payne 3 was really polished.

  • Does anyone know how big the download for this game is? A quick google tells me it's 30gb and I'm hoping someone can tell me that it's wrong! Otherwise, I have no idea how I'm going to download this on my limited bandwidth :(

EDIT - nevermind, just read the Amazon page properly and it's a 26gb download. Think I may have to pass on this!

    • It's a steam code, you know you can pause and resume steam downloads right?

    • Yup that's right, it's pretty weighty. If you have any friends with it they could always back it up through steam to a portable hard drive rather than having to download it…

      • Yeah I know how steam works, it's just going to take a large chunk out of my monthly quota and will more than likely take a week for me to download lol

Might have to ask my friend for a favour and get him to download it on his connection.

        • If you are on BigPond, iiNet, Internode, Optus, iPrimus, or Adam you can use https://code.google.com/p/steam-limiter/ to limit to unmetered content servers for those ISPs… I am on internode with a small download cap and use this, it works a treat

        • Steam Limiter no longer works for most ISP's (except Internode). Definitely doesn't work on Bigpond (as I can confirm). That's the one negative in comparison to Internode :( Although, in saying that, I do use my GF's Internode connection to download my Steam games!

If you still have the promo credit, this cracker deal could definitely be worth waiting for…spotted by Dingotech on Whirlpool:

"In case you guys didn't know a Microsoft bundle is supposed to go live on Amazon on Sunday US time (If they get sign off).

    Should include –

    Mark of the Ninja
    Deadlight
    Iron Brigade
    Toy Soldiers
    Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet

All for $9.99, OR $4.99 if you have a coupon from Nov/Dec! Pretty crazy deal!"
