That won't happen. It comes with 2GB, and OP is adding 4GB in the free memory slot.
OP: Good price. I'm sure you will spark up some interest if you also include a deal (better than staticice.com.au) on 3TB WD Red HDD's.
OK, we'have decided to offer the N54L with 2Gb standard ECC at $299 Including Free Delivery - but am unable to post the deal on the main page. Anyone want to post it up for us? Please ask for more details (promocode etc)
Any chance of a side deal to go with this (or without) ?
Windows Home Server 2011 delivered for around $50 ??
I can get it for $46.something but can't be bothered driving 30min there and 30mins back ;)Done - Home Server coming in as well at $49
…..or a deal on the RAM seperately. :D
Done - 4Gb Kingston ECC at $49, or 16Gb Kingston ECC Kit at $149
I'm really happy with my N40L. If not for that I'd be interested.
Of course, if you were to offer a deal with say 4 suitable 2T drives I'd be more than interested. I might even get excited :)
N54L $299
4X WD20EFRX $516All delivered free. Plus 4 chances to win a 70" Sharp LCD among other prizes - see http://www.wdthepowerofchoice.com/aupromotion
After 6 decades on the planet I declare that I have never won a single prize in my life. And it's not for the lack of trying.
Losers never win. Hence lotteries, raffles, lucky draws etc are no enticement.. :)
Cheers
..also with the last deal, i think you might find people are turned off as they aren't delivered with a 250gb drive…assuming this is the same?
No 250gb drive… Ummmm, why would anyone want a 250gb drive? :)
There was a typo in the last listing where they thought they getting one and then missed out.
People like to use it for their boot drive.Looks like you're getting some good interest anyway, good work ! :)
It's useful if you're running a 'nix OS. It's preferred to keep the OS on a separate drive and give the larger devices over to LVM or some form of array. 250G is more than adequate to accommodate a linux OS.
Can you do the sapphire 7750 low profile for $119 then ill get it with the n54l and do something for 4 3tb red or two for now and the 16 ram as well I was also after a Samsung 840 pro 128gb as well.
See what you can do for me as well as a few cables to connect it all up
How do these compare, in difficulty to setup, to the HP x510? (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HP-X510-1TB-Data-Vault-Q2050A-/32…)
More for sharing files, media etc?
What about 8gb of ram :)
