Considering whether to put a case on Sony Xperia Sola

Well I have a new Xperia Sola and I'm just wondering if it breaks easily and if it would make it more safe to have a case on it.

If you guys have an Xperia Sola:

Does the screen crack easily when dropped?

I have the similar Xperia S, and I refuse to put a case on it simply because it destroys the great design. I've never dropped mine, but I'd imagine that any phone would crack if given enough force.

Any kind of phone will cracked if dropped on hard surface. Look up Youtube on phone drop tests. It doesn't even matter if it has Gorilla Glass.

I use a faux? Mercury AV leather case, asides from protecting the phone from dust it also makes it more grippy and easier to hold.

Depends if you have butter fingers.. I gave my girlfriend my old phone (was in perfect condition), now it has chips on each corner and two screen scratches.
