I'm looking for a bargain as well as recommendations from any Ozbargainer who have
purchased/used an electric spray gun. These aren't large/heavy, usually hold 800ml-1000ml in the pot. I can't find a review anywhere and prices for these are as low
as the $40 mark. I'm wanting to paint brick walls, wooden gates and corregated iron. Will want to use both
water and oil based paints. Any recommendations?

A google search took me to oo.com.au. $39.95.
a painter friend said to me not to go for the cheapest e.g. ozito brand at Bunnings. as they don't last. also to clean straight after use to avoid clogging etc.
I was looking at one but ended up buying a reasonably large aircompressor off ebay for $25 (broken but was fixed with a $2.38 part from china). and am now looking for a long aircompressor hose and paint gun to suit .
update - air compressor paint gun - was in Bunnings at Albion and walking past their reduced trolley I noticed a compressor accessory kit. containing paint gun, pressure air gun, 14 meter hose and a couple of other things. was $49.95, marked to $30. which was pretty good even if for a paint gun alone. said to the service person "it's missing all the fittings/couplings" (which I have any way) so she marked it down to $20. happy.
Went in to buy f-crimp splitter things (which they didn't have any way)
a) where are the cheap $40 ones? At that price I would give one a go.
b) when I was looking at them last year, the Amazon reviews gave me a lot of info on what to look for, but I didn't end up buying.
