Please put the location in the title. I have never heard of this place and suspect you have wasted my time in that it is not in WA.

VIC only in case anyone else was wondering, might save you some disappointing clicks.

Sorry about that. I hope you didn't miss anything important during minute I wasted.

  • good price for tomatoe sauce too

  • Gotta love Tasmans, $5 for 1kg of cheap bacon is good too great for hang-over breakfasts.

    • Aldi have the same deal IF its not been sold out, always seems popular.

      • Tasmans is easier for me to goto + their selection of meats is far better.

      • I bought ' lamb' cutlets once from aldi. Needless to say, it was my first and last time doing so. Their meat is a fail on an epic level.

I've been to the one in Clayton Vic and that was only to pick up a free ham but walked out with far too much.
They had a good selection of meats and other goods and imo their prices seemed cheaper than most places.

A favorite of mine. Its like a budget supermarket dedicated to meat. The butchers will prepare/marinate anything extra for you too. I usually get something to put on the spit and they are happy to string it up.

    • Thanks for the great suggestion highaxis, have been wanting to get something for the spit.

I'm a big Tasman fan as well. Having been to quite a few of the shops I find Oakleigh (on North rd) to be the best. It's the Bunnings of meat - go in to get a chicken snitzel and you end up buying a cow, 3 sheep and half a pig.

You probably need to find a chest freezer bargain to go along with this one…

    • maybe also called the costco of meats….

  • wish we had something like this in sydney.

  • my local IGA (Gladstone Park) had lamb chops for the same price, ended up getting half a lamb, for 6.99 a kilo (included LEG roast and rib chops etc)
