  • Only $22 from Amazon. Not sure how much shipping is though or if they ship to Australia.

  • as i said last time OP posted a "deal". if oregon stuff does not work as advertised its hardly a good deal

i have an oregon wireless thermometer, what a huge lump of crap it is. the viewing angle for the lcd is about 3 degrees, even looking directly at it you cant read whats on the screen, you have to get up and look down from a 45 degree angle to actually read it. for no reason it loses contact wtih the outdoor sender and you have to power cycle everything before it will pick it up again (seriously, do these things run on windows or something?) and googling it seems is a common theme with there gear.

i can not recommend there products or this "deal"

  • i bought one of these few yrs ago and it's off by few degress. the reference thermometer was comark c22.

  • +1

If you want a BBQ thermometer get a Maverick ET732, widely regarded as the best around and only about $60 shipped form the USA:

I bought mine from this seller and can vouch for them.

    • I can vouch for the Maverick ET732 as well. Got it from a different seller, but works well.

Only bad thing was the base station temperature only displays in Fahrenheit (The remote can be changed but I couldn't find any way of changing the base)

      • Strange, mine definitely displays in Celsius…
