2 years is such a long time that many things will definitely undergo a price reduction. I wonder whether GE Money (the issuer of Coles Platinum Mastercard) excludes gadgets like laptops, computers, LCD TVs, Cameras.
I guess you need to read the pds to see if it covers technology items like laptops as they deprecate fast and two years is a long time. ref "It costs just 1% of your monthly closing balance – capped at $50 per month. So even if you spend a bit more you’ll be certain it won’t cost you more than $50 a month." i wonder what if you pay your full balance before the statement is generated would you still be covered if you need to make a claim later on? if so it would be great as the premium you pay is $0 but you would need to remember when your billing cycle is and pay it off in full before that date every time.
