Second that. Bought my lens with them. 2 weeks to dispatch item and another 3 and a half week postage. Bought small gadget and have to chase up after a month and found that the order has not even been processed. They said they recieve lots of order. It's not even anytime near christmas. No apology from them either. Another week to dispatch and 2 weeks postage.
Yeah I had some bad experiences with their shipping and support, that the very reason I went with unique mobile for note 2 paid few dollars more though. Unique mobile usually dispatch and being delivered within 10 working days

Most Cheap Phones seem to come from Hong Kong. Shopping Square and Kogan are the same i believe.
Id say 2+ weeks postage to be fair. I haven used them (topbuy.com.au) yet , but the price is super competitive and publicizing it may force other sellers to adjust their prices down. : )

Yes, but with no warranty support from SAMSUNG Australia, the phones have to go back to Hong Kong (or as enco has reported, to Europe) - or be repaired by 'someone' in Australia. This 'someone' may not have access to genuine parts, may not have been trained by SAMSUNG, etc.
I think Kogan would give better Australian support than TopBuy - eg. replacing the handset before sending to back to SAMSUNG Hong Kong.
I bought the Galaxy S3 4G from Top Buy a couple of months ago. It was sent from HK but was France stock.
It said Orange France on the barcode sticker that was on the box, but other than that little sticker, everything else is unbranded.
The funny thing was, I was actually in HK when I bought it online from Top Buy. It was cheaper than stock I could find over there, even at the places that advertised as grey imports in HK. I was wondering where HK stores get their grey import phones from.. I guess I found out the answer!

Last time, i ordered galaxy tab 7+ from them, i got a secondhand one!!! the box was badly damaged and the seal was covered by another seal! The tablet looked new but only god knows if they renewed it or not!
Called, emailed and asked, they replied that the box is damaged during delivery and as long as the tablet is new, it should be fine!!!

Yes, it should be; however, in my case, the second seal was in black and white and it looked like to me topbuy printed it, as the colour was poor and faded. Moreover, I could see clearly that beneath this seal, there was an original one!!!
I asked them about this matter and the answer i got was: Dont worry about the seal! We still provide you 12 month warranty O.o!!! Well, i sold it after 3 months, for i could not upgrade to ICS, since it was from South Africa (X.X) ( i bought it last September)

My experience wasn't a bad one (as above), I'd heard the bad stories and decided to go with them and it went smoothly.
Based on everyone elses stories, maybe I should count myself lucky and not take the risk again? haha
A lot of people who don't run into any issues are happy with it. If the item becomes faulty and needs RMA though, they might change their tune. This is an important part that can't be overlooked when evaluating a seller.
