Hi all,
Looks like a cracking price for a 51 inch Samsung plasma, and free shipping to most locations.
Hi all,
Looks like a cracking price for a 51 inch Samsung plasma, and free shipping to most locations.
$30 off $300+ spend for You and Your Friend (New Customers).
Only $9 cheaper than both JB and TGG bricks & mortar stores, wouldn't call that a 'cracking' price.
Bought from Big Brown Box a couple of months ago for $760 Delivered.
same price as big brown box… by all reports a good tv - definately worth the price
They are the same company, ergo the same price. And yes its 9 bucks cheaper then TGG but its free delivery, meaning you dont have to drag yourself down there to pick it up, they deliver it and unbox it all part of the delivery and remove the packaging.
I told you a thousand times not to exaggerate.
It's really not that much of a hassle for most to 'drag yourself' to TGG or JB…plus you can haggle a bit while you're there.
Also, delivery usually requires taking some or all of a day off work waiting.
Not sure what you do, but I get paid more than $9 an hour.
hate waiting for delivery, especially if there is a problem and it needs to exchanged :/
Nearest TGG from me is 20 minutes, then got the use the car which isnt that economical to begin with, so by the time i waste 40-50min to go get it, then lug it up the stairs its easier to pay the extra 9 bucks and get it delivered. Lot of effort vs pressing a few buttons then having it on my doorstep in a couple of days.
Cool, you'd rather wait around half a day for delivery than spend an hour doing it yourself, annoying the sales guy into a further discount, maybe getting an extra $30 off (that's half a tank of petrol), getting out of the house, and having it today.
I'd rather just go get it. We will unfortunately never marry.
To re-iterate my first point, it's not a 'cracking' deal. Competitive with the B&M stores yes, but not 'cracking'.
Even if you get it delivered to your house, you'll still have to 'lug it up the stairs'. Unless you're going to pay someone else to do that for you too..
Part of appliances online delivery is to install and remove the packaging.
Good value TV, but not the cheapest you can buy it for.
No bargain,$749 delivered when the sales were on -

not a bargain
good tv, not the best price.
I got mine $760 delivered before christmas BBB
This is series 5, a bit behind the times.
Eljo had for $738 delivered up to a week or so ago… now $799.
Just give it another month or so…
This tv is cheaper in many other stores
Cheaper elsewhere
Good product, but this is average price compare to other shop. I could've this TV at the beginning of 2012 for around this price.
Just wondering if the TV (Samsung Series 5) plays movies off USB stick?
I have this TV and it plays movie from the USB stick
Mine plays everthing, including mkv.
edit: which in my opinion eliminates the need for a blue ray player.
I have this TV for the kids room, pretty good for the price, built in wifi and the media player plays everything and is easy to use. I also have a Pana ST50 for main family room which has better picture but the media functions are rubbish, does not keep folders, just lists all the files in one big mess….
No deal. I got mine for $690 from JB Hifi. TV is ok, not the best.
cheaper here..
