Seems like a pretty good deal for a 3D 5.1 surround bluray system with all the fruit. Includes wireless lan and wireless rear speakers (according to the manual). Dual HDMI input / optical in / smart tv functions / bluetooth / ipod dock.

They also have 24 month interest free at the moment so works out to be $25.30 a month (including $4.95 monthly charge).

The marked price instore was around $550.00 from memory, I took a print out in.

    We had a crap experience with this system. My sister bought them and the system stopped working after 1 month. We sent them to samsung warranty and they wanted 3 months to fix them. What bull! We complained to samsung and they forced the Good guys to give us a refund.

      Why didn't you take it back to the good guys in the first place?

        The Good Guys told me when I bought a Samsung TV to deal directly with Samsung while covered by the 1 year Samsung warranty. Samsung were really good to me though, TV was fixed quite quickly when it had a problem.

          For a TV, sure, as they'll send someone out to come check it out. If you need to send stuff away for repair just dump it at the shop and get them to do it, makes it easier to escalate via Fair Trading - but if you're entitled to a refund or replacement you should demand this FIRST.

    Bought the same system for 480 from david jones about 2 months ago…

    Wanted to buy another one for my sister…. Bigbrownbox.com.au had it for 460 delivered a few weeks ago…but now their price has gone up….When contacted their rep thru ozbargain…she replied that they should be able to help me out with the old price if I gave them a call…

    Only good thing about this deal is interest free offer…

        Yeah I take my statement back… :) you are paying about $5 fee a month to get it interest fee…so not attractive at all….

    Interest free buy now pay later usually works out to be more expensive. The 'interest free' bit is true but taking account of other ongoing fees, it is always gonnabe more expensive.
    You should not expect something for nothing, right?

          Hmmmm….this is all I've got at the moment. I'd actually forgotten about it. When I went to the store to pick it up (after ordering online), they said that the receipt would be sent out later in the mail. I haven't received anything yet. Forgotten all about it. I'll have to chase them up.
