Nature's Plus Children's Chewable Multi-Vitamin $12.83 (+6.99 s/H) for 180 Gummies

20

There is currently a sale on the whole Nature's Plus range. I thought this was a stand out as my sister buys vita gummies for her son and they normally cost around $12 for only 60 gummies but this deal is for 180. The prices for this sale are hidden until you place the items in the cart which is a bit inconvenient but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the cart. :)

Vitacost also give a $10 bonus for new customers who join using a referral code. Just need to spend a minimum of $30 on your first order. My referral code is below and I get $10 too if you use it.

Shipping is a flat $6.99 for up to 3.4 pounds so I suggest buying a couple of items to take advantage of the low rate.

Try a normal, healthy diet instead

    • For adults I agree with you but have you ever tried to feed a kid a balanced diet everyday?

Comment from Rosemary Stanton on a CHOICE article about vitamins:

    Multivitamins for kids?

In the case of children, it’s particularly important for parents to provide a healthy selection of foods rather than give a multivitamin to cover up for possible nutritional shortfalls. Stanton stresses that it’s not OK for kids to eat junk just because they’re getting multivitamins. “A recent study of Australian preschoolers found that 31% were overweight or obese, and their diets lacked fibre and had too much saturated fat – problems that a multivitamin won’t fix.”

“Don’t offer something that will distract from consumption of real food,” says Watson. “Children become consumers of everything you serve them eventually, so it’s worth persisting with good food.”

  • Fruit and vegetables eat them maybe?!
