Find Me a TiVo

Hi guys,
Im wanting to buy a TiVo.
I sold one on ebay about 2 years ago to get foxtel IQ, now im regretting my decision as they are not available as readily.

Can someone tell me where I will find a really good price on a 180 or 360?

Doesnt have to be new……please help

    From Tivo Support, as of last month:
    There are some Harvey Norman stores with less stock than others, but we can assure you that there are still Harvey Norman, Joyce Mayne and Domayne stores with TiVo stock available across the country.

    They had a pile on Special when I bought a Beyonwiz, some month back from Harvey Norman store at Domayne Auburn, NSW.

    Might you consider the Topfield TRF-7160?

    I found 2 at Harvey Norman Gordon - 1tb $550 each

    but too much in my opinion

      If this is not a line they want to carry and they are clearing out stock, I'm sure you could negotiate a substantial discount on these units. But it does seem a lot to ask as a standard price.

        I was pretty keen to buy one, but the sales guy just wasn't interested - he would only drop it $50 (advertised price was $598)

        I was lucky this morning a managed to get a 320gb Tivo with a original remote, WiFi Dongle, all cables and paperwork + a Harmony remote for $250 - the seller even dropped it off to me

        So my suggestion is to stick with eBay, something will come up sooner or later

    I got a 160gb tivo for $100 and $30 postage from WA to melbourne. Fair deal? Was on gumtree

    The Home Networking Package (to receive a digital key to decode stuff that you can take off your TiVo) is a $99 add-on from TiVo.com.au, but was able to be had for $5 at a certain point in the past. If you are interested in this option then perhaps look for a secondhand deal with this included.
    Instructions are available to replace the internal drive with a 2TB drive.
