Completely disagree, I have a 650 and a 700 which ate almost the same except for rechargeable batteries in the 700. The batteries last for over a month and when you get a low battery warning it lasts until the end of the day to plug it in. So in the morning it's charged, ready to go. This is a great price, I paid $45 at LTS.

Probably the silliest comment ever seen on OzB.

My Harmony One gets a pretty intense workout (controls about 12 different things) and needs charging at least every 3-4 days.

    • Harmony's chew though batteries. My original was a 525 which takes 4xAAA, I used rechargeables that would need recharging every 10 days or so.
Definitely appreciate the Rechargeable in my 700.

lol auna, looking through your comments you don't seem to be happy with many products…

  • I have the Logitech Harmony 200 (or what ever the base model is). I was so impressed with how easy it was to setup. But it only does 3 devices, I need more. Harmony 700 does 6, I think that (combined with the other) should be enough :)

  • Cheers Scuba.

I have been waiting for LTS to put them back on sale

  • If I didn't get the 650 in the last deal I'd be all over this. Can't recommend it highly enough.

i have an old 525 and while the screen is just B&W LCD, it does 12 or 15 devices

now i dont even have a heap of consumer electronics but SIX devices is just too low

hell, i have more TVs than that…

    i'd buy another 525 in a heartbeat

    • Yep, I've got a 525 too, and although I'd love to upgrade to a newer colour-screen ohh la la model, the fact that they do less than half the devices is a joke. Guess Logitech clued on - if we restrict the number of devices it operates, we can sell more :/

      • logitech are just playing the game

if you have more than six devices, you are obviously a high roller so why not go to our $200+ remotes

i mean look at it this way… i have 2 consoles, 2 tvs for each + amp + stbs + dvds + blurays etc.

        6+ devices is not unusual

      Here's a 525 for a mere $108 delivered: http://www.eyo.com.au/116623_logitech-harmony-525-advanced-u…
Or you could buy three of these and keep one in each room, controlling 18 devices, unless you have all your 7+ TVs in the same room that is…

    • Agreed. I have the 525 and the new 6xx series, I reckon the 525 is perfect. It works better then the newer model!

  • Bought!

  • ahhh what should i do with my new harmony 200? :(
bought it last week from centrecom deal $15

  • Thanks. Been meaning to get one for a while.

  • I have one and it is brilliant. Much better than the 785 which I have also used.

  • Sold out

  • any one knows if this remote will works with Foxtel and Hisense Tv ??

    • +1

Foxtel is fine, not sure on hisense. I have the 650 and it is able to "listen" to other remotes so can be programmed for anything.

These remotes are fantastic and can even control the Xbox.

      • Oh, thanks mate… luckily got one at the last minute :)

  • bugger. missed it.

  • Picked up one prior to sellout - thanks OP been looking for one these, on the cheap!

  • Just got one, have to wait and refresh for stock to free up

    • OK, now it's showing sold out

Wish they would do a deal on the Harmony touch

    • Cheapest I have seen was JB HiFi who had it at $175. I would probably grab it when it's half price ~ $125

  • Dangit… this is what I get for not checking Ozb all morning.

I have one of these and I love it, dog got it though and chewed out a couple of (luckily non critical) buttons.
