Hotel Accomodation Port Douglas

Hi looking for advice travelling to port Douglas for a wedding in august three adults no children
Most hotels only have 1 or two rooms available as apparently this is busiest time
Looking for airfares and hotel checking Happy hour with virgin
Have tried priceline.com not sure if they take Australian credit card
Any suggestions gratefully received staying 3 nights

    Everyone will take an Australian credit card. Find the hotel you want then try hotelscombined.com for a good price.

    Hi,
    We stayed at three places last April,and I would definitely stay in a one bedroom penthouse at sea temple again.The room and lounge room were massive,had its own kitchen and overlooked a massive pool.I relaxed as soon as i got there.It also had a rooftop BBQ and spa area.It was the highlight of our Port Douglas stay.I would avoid room service dinner though,and also it is not within walking distance to town,but it has a regular shuttle,5 minutes to town.It also backs onto beach.Defiately recommend as good value.

    I always use booking.com or agoda.com.au, some have free cancellation for change of mind.

    I've always used www.visitportdouglasdaintree.com.au/. It lists all of the accommodation in the area. If you contact them directly they'll help you find accommodation. Also try www.hotelclub.com/Australia/
