I've owned a pair for 3 years (paid $250) and they still do not have one scratch on them. Only the detailing on the arms is showing signs of wear. I've now snatched a new pair at this great price.

No indication of how many in stock.

  • Quite a few Otis are reduced, nice that they are polarised

    • There are others but this pair has the top of the range lens, hence the high RRP and what makes this a great deal IMO.

      • Your right although hard to find these on the otis website to compare.

  • How's the fit on these? I have a large face/ head

    • Like I said, I've been wearing them for 3 years or so. Can't say how big my head is compared to yours obviously, but I'm a relatively big guy in general (6'2") if that helps.

  • Or you could go for the Perv sunglasses with code 'SUN' - only one code can be entered.

  • Er - $49.95 here (different colour but seems to have the photochromic lenses).

    • Er no - "cool grey mineral glass lens" (your link) ≠ "Polarised Photochromatic Lens" (this deal)

      • but look in the text above the Features - it says polarised and photochromatic there? I couldn't find yours anywhere on the site (could be a discontinued model though).

I prefer brown lenses to grey, but the brown in these (copper) doesn't lookk very dark - would that be just the photo or are they not very dark?

Bit later - very misleading on that page. Better description of the lenses here:

        http://www.otiseyewear.com/lens-technology_page.html

So looks like they aren't photochromatic or polarised.

        • It's not clear enough you're right, but the text is saying that the Prague range features a model with the flagship lens (polarised photochromatic), however this is not that particular model.

As for the darkness, my current pair aren't photochromatic, but from your link it states "the lens tint varies depending on the amount of direct sunlight".

        • Yes, but the range (now) is just the two on that page. It seems there is no longer one with the fancy lenses (except old stock you found). If we hadn't had this discussion I might have bought those ones thinking they were the better lens.

Taken a dive and bought the copper ones. Good for winter if they aren't dark enough for summer.

        • Agreed this is why its a great buy?

  • Thanks Bought, you know your shit :)

(my current sunnies - very light and comfy)

  • I bought the smoke grey glasses bout 4yrs ago.. only now are the lenses starting to show wear, still look great and no vision impairment by the minor scratches.. they have a little bit wider than usual sunglass fit, are a little heavier (due to the glass lenses) and are not polarised.

Thinking I'll pick up another pair and a pair the OP has mentioned. Great find dude, these are awesome glasses!

  • All gone now.

  • Received mine today, and these are awesome! best sunnies i have ever owned by far. The lenses make my eyes feel like they are in a spa :)

    • I hate them. Quite small (both the glass size & 'head' width) and the glass is very light and doesn't seem to darken at all outside. Also they don't suit my bonce at all. Never buy sunglasses without trying them on first. Anybody missed out want to buy them?

      • Happy to take them off your hands
