i love pringles
it's party time…..
I'm not so sure it's just NSW… I bought a tin of pringles from Kmart yesterday (in Queensland) and was only charged $2… it was one of the tall tins so I'm guessing that's the 170g one.
Ahh awesome. Coles did have this deal however a couple of weeks ago, They put up a display shelf full at the start of an aisle in every store, and it was amazing to see how many people who bought, bought like 5+ (myself included).
but…. I love my cheap salty powdered-reconstituted potato peelings :p
Me too! I think there's a place for this type of stuff on the board.
They are delicious. But is it worth driving to K-mart to save two bucks?
No disrespect to the pringle intended. And the cans make great wifi antennae.
In contrast, the $29 digital-photo frames were a real bargain. Thats the stuff i want to read about. Apparently its just me though :-(@freddy: Freddy
Understand your position here but
- A bargain is a bargain and we are here to share - no one has to buy.
- Not all bargains suit everyone. A negative vote really is not an opinion, its saying taht somethings wrong with the bargain - ie its cheaper elsewhere in the same timeframe, its not what it purports to be, has strings attached etc
- Its a bargain if say someone is visiting Kmart anyway like to return faulty $29 frame etc, so without knowing about it, the bargain could be missed.
- bargains are also time sensitive, While the $29 digital frame was a great bargain, it no longer exists, so a $39 digital frame if available would also be a bargain now
So the game here is to encourage bargains to be posted, negative votes discourage that sharing. (which we want to do in the case of spam/and scams)
All that said your opinion is yours and as such its valid
Well, think about it more logically. If I went shopping today, I wouldn't have even looked at the pringles. But now I know the offer, I might go pick up a pack or two. No point giving it a negative just because you don't like a product, but 50% is 50% off.
I'm with you on this one. I wouldn't necessarily go to Kmart to buy Pringles, but if I knew they were on sale at this price and I was in the area (or already shopping at Kmart) I'd definitely grab some.
I thought is was the amount, not the percentage, that counts. 1% off my mortgage rate is better than one free phone call.
Just because the amount is $2 off doesn't mean it's not a bargain…
What if I bought 20 cans for a party?! That's $40 in savings!
Keep an open mind when viewing these deals. But do be critical for things are that too good to be true, e.g. entries from spammers.
And just because someone wouldn't buy a product for themselves doesn't make a bargain bad.
Perhaps its attitudes like that that should be kept off this "board" that you speak of.
freddy i think you are being just a tad harsh. I understand your point though. oz bargain has been flooded with a lot of dubious "deals" lately.
freddy,
why don't you go out and get some exercise instead of posting trivial rubbish in here? if you don't like it, no one forces your hand to click on the topic title. The thing this site needs is more deals, not people like you commenting negatively in each and every topic that doesn't suit them.
tl;dr: don't click stuff you don't have any interest in.
Digital photo frames are the 1970s plaster ducks of 2008 - you'll look back and realise how uncool they really were (I hate the bogan things). Unless of course you feel technologically hip buying one….
Pringles for 2 bucks - good deal - I hope they have Texas BBQ left:)
All this discussion is making me hungry! I need pringles
great deal..thanks! keep them coming, i wouldnt of noticed this otherwise
i love pringles .. and im sharing the bargain with ppl who'd love a bargain. if this is not what your eyes want to see, then go look at some other stuff. :) as simple as that!
wow, NSW only? Wonder why?
