Looking for Cheap windows 7 dvd purchase or digital download thats legit. Before anyone says Windows 8 is $40 or less I dont care, tried it its the worst OS and id rather use DOS :)
Anyway, thanks in advance to anyone that can help

Oops, I didn't realise that you'd posted this topic and posted almost the same about an hour ago…
Cheapest I've found is $98 from Umart pickup. There are slightly cheaper, but shipping to Brisbane makes them more than Umart.
I agree, Windows 8 is a horrible OS, Windows 7 will be just like XP and live on for a long time.
I don't really understand the downgrade thing. How does that all work?

Cheers, I'll look more into the downgrading, I assume that means I just have to find a windows 7 DVD to install with after installing windows 8, it just doesn't matter if the licence is already used by someone.
Windows 7 doesn't require a key to install… If I had a key to install Windows 7 why would I get it reactivated? I guess to keep the key but still…
Ah. Store bought PCs. The key is embedded in the BIOS.
Get Windows 8 Pro for $40 and downgrade… It has to be Pro though as that is the version with downgrade rights.
